Pach ja Ecotourism Center

It is located within the Flora and Fauna Protection Area of Nahá, where nature and ancestral communities merge. Here you can feel an atmosphere of peace and harmony. Among many other activities, in this site you can spend the night in an ecotourism camp, take guided tours and observe the rich flora and the sighting of birds such as the quetzal, the toucan, the peacock and some mammals of the region.

Pach ja is the starting point to visit the Nahá and Amarilla lagoons, as well as a crocodile sanctuary and hike through the jungle to observe the cave systems.

How to get there

The Nahá-Metzabok km1 highway, 83 km from the city of Palenque, takes approximately three hours with parts of paved and dirt roads. The other option is from the city of Ocosingo, which is 90 km away and takes about four hours on a dirt road.
