Parador Valle Escondido Touristic Center

It is a tourist service center, with adventure and ecotourism activities. The parador is located inside an hacienda on the edge of the southern border road, which has preserved much of the jungle vegetation. The beauty of this place lies in its natural environment and it is also ideal for other activities such as hiking and bird watching in the surrounding jungle.

This parador serves as a reference to explore other interesting places such as: Las Golondrinas Waterfall, La Poza Po'op Chan and also the opportunity to delve into the mystery of the Mayan culture in the archaeological zones of Yaxchilán and Bonampak you will see the crossing of Shupá, then take the Carretera Fronteriza Sur no. 307; and at kilometer 61 of that road you will find El Parador Vallescondido.

Located one hour from Palenque, specifically at kilometer 61 of the southern border highway. Leave Palenque on federal highway 199 towards Ocosingo, until you reach the Shupá crossroads, then take the southern border highway, 27 kilometers after the Cháncala crossroads you will find Parador Vallescondido.
