Mariposas Alas de agua (Butterflies Wings of Water) Tourist Center

"Mariposas Alas de Agua", offers a butterfly garden where there are more than 120 species of butterflies; In addition to the beautiful Cascada de la Sirena, a cave where there are cave paintings, you will also see the waterfall of La Piedrona that measures more than 40 meters high, El Mirador and the Ecotourism Center Pak'al Tsix'A that has cabins and ideal places to camp with a nursery of exotic flowers.

During the months of November and December, the main attraction of this tourist center are the Alas de Agua butterflies.

In Tapachula you can take the transportation to the ejido El Aguila that leaves from the esplanade of the San Juan market. Travel time is approximately one hour. The center is located in the Nuevo Paraíso ejido, municipality of La Concordia, Chiapas, Independencia Highway, Finca Cuxtepec, km 36, zip code 30360.
