Cascada Misol Touristic Center - Há

It is a paradisiacal tourist destination located 20 kilometers from the archaeological zone of Palenque, this destination offers visitors a different concept in the region, where contact with nature will be the main thing.

This waterfall of approximately 30 meters high, is the result of the precipitation of a river by a cliff of calcareous rocks, which when falling forms a wide pool in which it is possible to swim with caution. This refreshing and beautiful place is a typical example of the high tropical jungle of the Sierra de Chiapas, and is in the midst of a rich vegetation composed of tall specimens of mahogany, chicozapotes and palos de agua. You can walk along a trail until you are behind the waterfall and enjoy a majestic view.

How to get there

From Palenque, it is 20.5 kilometers, which by car will take you a maximum of half an hour, Kilometer 46.5, Federal Highway 199 Catazajá Rancho Nuevo, Ejido San Miguel, municipality of Salto de Agua, Chiapas. From Ocosingo it is 99.5 kilometers, in 2 hours. From Palenque there is mixed transportation and you will be dropped off at the turnoff, then you will have to walk 1.5 kilometers on paved road.
