Cascada de Agua Azul Touristic Center

The beauty of the waterfalls and their impressive blue color are aspects that characterize this natural wonder of Chiapas, which are formed thanks to the Tulijá and Shumuljá rivers, forming shallow canyons with vertical cliffs that give rise to the waterfalls. This coloration, together with the intense green of the vegetation, the constant breeze and the inexhaustible aquatic sound, contribute to make this site one of the most beautiful and unforgettable natural spectacles in Chiapas.

This center has restaurant services, handicrafts for sale, trails, zipline, swimming areas, bird watching, camping areas, parking and cabins.

Leaving from Ocosingo, on the highway to Palenque (federal highway 199) after 58 kilometers you will see, on the left, the 4 kilometer branch to the waterfalls. From the city of San Cristobal de Las Casas it is 158 kilometers, approximately 3 hours.
