Mammoth Grotto Tourist Center

Located 7 kilometers from the Magical Town of San Cristobal is this tourist park with a large expanse of green grass, trees, a stream, games and of course the Grutas del Mamut, its main attraction, which takes its name from a rock formation in the shape of this prehistoric mammal; this huge cave full of rock formations impresses visitors. Unlike other nearby caves such as Rancho Nuevo or El Arcotete, the Grutas del Mamut are still in a "basic" stage, however due to its shape, it is not an impediment to enjoy this natural wonder.
