Las Conchitas Touristic Center

Las Conchitas is located on the Soconusco Coastal Route, within the polygonal zone of La Encrucijada Biosphere Reserve. The access is by the river through estuaries. Here you can perform various activities like living a beach experience, which is characterized by having mainly large tracts of natural estuaries with mangroves and open sea, this center can be visited throughout the year.

The evergreen mangroves in this area reach up to 35 meters high and are considered among the highest in the Pacific.

You can get there by road (4 hrs.) From the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez by the toll road to Arriaga and follow the signs to Acapetahua and from there 18 km by paved road to the dock of Las Garzas, there you take a boat that takes you through the mangroves to the tourist center (40 minutes).
