Chocohuital tourist center

Located in the Chocohuital hacienda, its scenic beauty attracts those who love nature, near the tropical mangrove with a safe, natural and healthy environment, where the sensitive sounds of the sea inspire the exaltation of the senses, spiritual peace and full rest. This tourist center offers services of nautical tours in the estuary, where you can observe aquatic and beach birds, crocodiles, alligators, characteristic flora of the area such as the red mangrove and the chocohuite tree (from which the community derives its name). You can do recreational fishing, swimming, kayaking and trips to the mouth bar where you can see the connection between the sea and the estuary.

In this area is held annually in December an event called "Martinique Bird Festival", with a large influx of enthusiasts and birdwatchers, both national and international, who live together and share experiences for more than four days.
