Lacandones Camp

It is located in the middle of the Lacandon Jungle, in the village of Lacanjá Chansayab. Only 5 km from the Mayan archaeological site of Bonampak, the city of painted walls and only 4 km from the archaeological remains of the lost city of Lacanjá. This place is ideal for those looking to get away from conventional travel, stop the clock, contemplate the blue sky and immerse themselves in the rivers and waterfalls that protect Mother Nature, and invite you to discover the intense green of the jungle.

Here the adventurer loses himself in time, contemplating the hundreds of birds, from the tiniest to the amazing shadow in the sky of the scarlet macaw; with luck he will also hear the imposing noise of the saraguato monkey or the jaguar inside the impenetrable jungle.

How to get there?

Leaving from Palenque, you must first take federal highway number 199 and then drive along the Southern Border highway, you will travel 132 km until you reach the San Javier crossing and from this point, you will travel 8 km until you reach the community of Lacanjá Chansayab.
