Located 21 kilometers from Tuxtla Gutierrez and only 10 minutes from Chiapa de Corzo in the ejido Juan del Grijalva, is this place of natural beauty where a stream emerges from a cave, falling as a waterfall from a height of 25 meters; when falling, the waterfall forms a series of natural pools framed by a medium jungle vegetation composed mainly of amates and fig trees, which climbs the limestone walls of the mountains surrounding the place.
The best thing about this area is that you can go hiking, swimming, climbing and canyoning, as well as explore the subway river or go on a photographic safari. For speleology lovers, you can go through the entire cave in a tour that lasts about 12 hours, although you must be in good physical shape, carry the proper equipment and do it accompanied by a local guide.
From Chiapa de Corzo on Pan American Highway 190, travel 14 km until you reach a 2 km detour that leads to the entrance of the waterfall.
