Savor this traditional drink made with nixtamalized corn dough
It is usually drunk unsweetened with bits of brown sugar loaf, with mango or peanut.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 kg. Nixtamalized white corn
- 60 gr. Lime
- 2 lt. Water
- Sugar
Preparation
- Grind the corn and make sure it is not too fine.
- Dissolve the dough with water, sugar and add ice.
Tips:
Stir before drinking, because pozol tends to settle after a couple of minutes, leaving a residue called muzú or shish at the bottom of the container.
