Ingredients
- 800 gr. Brown sugar loaf (panela)
- 10 gr. Cinnamon
- 1 kg. Peeled colconaves (coyol)
- 1 l. Water
- 4 pcs. Star anise
Preparation
- With a wooden mallet, crush the colconaves and then wash them.
- Boil the water with the brown sugar and cinnamon; When it comes to a boil, drop the colconaves and cook for 2 hours or until the syrup thickens.
Tips:
You can substitute the brown sugar for regular sugar.
