Peach Caramel

Exquisite dessert with delicious notes of wood

Preparation time: 3 hours

Ingredients
  1. 3 kg. Peaches
  2. 1.5 kg. Sugar
  3. 15 wooden boxes
Preparation
  1. Wash the peaches and peel them.
  2. Cut into pieces.
  3. In a container boil water and drop the peaches, when they are slightly cooked, give a thermal shock with cold water.
  4. Drain and save for 12 hours.
  5. Cook the fruit with the sugar, stirring constantly with the support of a wooden spoon, preventing it from sticking. It will be ready when you can see the bottom of the container by moving the spoon.
  6. Once ready, pour it into a bowl or cylindrical wooden boxes.
Tips:

You can replace the boxes with glass containers, however the flavor that characterizes this sweet is provided by the wood where they are made.
