3 kg. Peaches
1.5 kg. Sugar
15 wooden boxes
Preparation
Wash the peaches and peel them.
Cut into pieces.
In a container boil water and drop the peaches, when they are slightly cooked, give a thermal shock with cold water.
Drain and save for 12 hours.
Cook the fruit with the sugar, stirring constantly with the support of a wooden spoon, preventing it from sticking. It will be ready when you can see the bottom of the container by moving the spoon.
Once ready, pour it into a bowl or cylindrical wooden boxes.
Tips:
You can replace the boxes with glass containers, however the flavor that characterizes this sweet is provided by the wood where they are made.
