Nuégados

Delicious dessert that varies from region to region.

A delicious flavor in different presentations. Savor its different styles of preparation that vary according to the Chiapas region. They are Delicious in any of its forms!

Nueganos

Preparation time: 1 hour and 25 minutes

Ingredients
  1. 1 kg. Flour
  2. 500 gr. Sugar
  3. 6 pcs. Eggs
  4. 30 gr. Baking powder
  5. 60 gr. Lard
  6. 5 gr. Salt
  7. 250 gr. Sugar with coloring
  8. 1 Lt. Oil
  9. 500 ml. Water
Preparation
  1. Make a dough with flour, eggs, royal, lard and salt.
  2. Let the dough rest for 30 min.
  3. Make small balls with the help of the dough.
  4. Fry the balls in plenty of oil.
  5. Make a thick syrup and once it is warm, stir constantly with the help of a wooden shovel until it becomes a thick sugary syrup.
  6. Bathe the fried balls with this sugar, paste 4 or 6 balls and when they are ready sprinkle them with the dyed sugar.
Tips:

The nuégados can be made to the size of your preferenc.
