Lagunas de Montebello National Park

Splendorous turquoise and emerald shades are those that make up more than 60 lagoons that are part of this wonderful Protected Natural Area, its mere contemplation justifies the visit. It is located in a hydrological region of high biological richness, in which there are more than 157 species of orchids, as well as more than 93 species of fungi, it is a site of high biodiversity. Thanks to its characteristics, it is considered an area of importance for the conservation of birds, it is inhabited by charismatic species such as the quetzal, the woodpecker, the yellow-cheeked warbler, as well as the tigrillo, jaguarundi and white-tailed deer.
