Near Socoltenango, at the point known as La Mesilla, in the municipality of Tzimol, the San Vicente River gives rise to a set of waterfalls known as El Chiflón, with a series of falls bearing different names such as: El Suspiro, Ala de Angel, Arco Iris, Quinceañera and the main Velo de Bodas with a height of 120 meters, which when falling forms natural pools of an intense turquoise blue color, along with the vast vegetation that forms a series of landscapes that can be appreciated when walking along the ascending path of more than 1,000 meters in length.
This ecotourism center offers lodging services in cabins, handicrafts store, parking lot, restaurant and for those who love strong emotions, it has a zip line that crosses along the river, in different stations that are worth experiencing.
From Comitán take the Pan American Federal Highway 190 towards the east - after 5 km, turn right onto State Highway 226 towards Tzimol; drive 35 km to the San Vicente River bridge (first entrance).
Leaving Tuxtla Gutiérrez, follow international highway No. 190 towards the town of 20 de Noviembre, then continue until you connect with highway No. 101, continue along the highway towards Venustiano Carranza, until you reach Pujiltic, then take the detour to highway 226 until you reach Francisco Villa and finally take the road that leads to the tourist center (second entrance).
