There is no doubt, as interesting as it is delicious is this traditional sweet from Zoque heritage. It is made of puffed sorghum and caramel, an exquisite delicacy.

Ingredients
500 gr. Sorghum
500 gr. Panela
250 ml. Oil
375 ml. Water
Preparation
Make a syrup with the water and the brown sugar.
Heat the oil and pop the sorghum.
When the sorghum is hot add the honey little by little and mix well.
On a table or chopping board, spread the mixture, compressing it very well to avoid crumbling, let it cool and cut it into 5 x 10 cm rectangles.
