Part of the history of the restaurant and living museum “El Fogón de Jovel” is the La Capitanía distillery, whose interesting gastronomic proposal claims to be the only Posh distillery in the city of San Cristóbal de las Casas. Within its cultural contribution to the destination, this historic distillery offers the experience of knowing this ancient Mayan drink through distillation, its artisanal elaboration and savoring it in its 15 presentations that are produced; some of the flavors that warm customer souls are: hibiscus, cocoa, bougainvillea and pear.

Main attraction:

Tasting of 15 flavors of Posh, Mayan alcoholic drink made by hand with cane, piloncillo ferment and the secret ingredient, endemic corn of the region.

Other services:

Chiapas food restaurant, marimba show and folkloric show, making coffee and chocolate on the table.
