The Ruta Costa Soconusco is an extensive Chiapas region rich in productions of the primary sector, both livestock and agriculture are sectors that in collaboration with the tourism sector expand the offer of authentic experiences in alternative and agronomic tourism, such is the case of this banana activity.

This journey begins in one of the main banana plantation cooperatives in the Mexican southeast, a community in which the meaning of sustainable growth has been successfully developed, and we work as a team for the benefit of all its members. Here the tour coordinators facilitate familiarization with the customs and history of the town, as well as the process of banana cultivation and harvesting.

Subsequently, there is a visit to the self-sustaining school community center, the only one of its kind in Chiapas, where a warm welcome is offered with folkloric dances and a moment of interaction with teachers and social workers who carry out educational work for sustainability purposes.
