- 2 kg. Brown sugar loaf.
- 4 Lt. Water
- 70 gr. Lime
Preparation
- Peel and cut the chilacayote into regular pieces.
- Soak the chilacayote in 1.5 liters of water with lime for 24 hours.
- boil the rest of the water with the panela.
- When the syrup is ready add the chilacayote and let it cook.
Tips:
You can replace the panela with sugar.
