The Red House is located on the border of Talismán Chiapas, it is the last border between Mexico and Guatemala located in the South of Mexico, it is an old house that served as the first Customs and Migration offices. Its construction began in 1938 and finished in 1940. During the years 1975 and 2000 the Red House was invaded by tenants for housing use. For approximately 12 years it was evicted and remodeled into offices that today are the Immigration Services.
