Museum of Popular Cultures

This Museum is located inside a Colonial-style building. The purpose is to recover, revalue and recreate the manifestations and expressions of Popular Culture of the State of Chiapas. Among its facilities it has a permanent exhibition room where the various customs and traditions of different cultures are exhibited, as well as a temporary exhibition room and a gallery where works by local artists are exhibited. It also offers workshops, sale of handicrafts and technical assistance in the development of popular culture projects.
