Marimba Museum

This museum is located in front of the famous Parque Jardín de la Marimba. It is a space that has five galleries, a marimba production workshop, and an audiovisual room are part of this museum that preserves the pieces that tell the history and evolution of the marimba. In addition, the museum has four electronic kiosks, two of them are to provide information and the other two are audio libraries where you can listen to famous pieces performed by various marimbistas.

The main objective of this museum is to pay tribute to the regional instrument, emblem of our state, promoting the conservation and dissemination of the marimbistic culture in Chiapas.
