Barra San Simón

Located just 15 kilometers from Mazatán, right where the sanctuary of the Virgen de la Concepción is located. It is a wide beach with exuberant vegetation, estuaries and a great variety of seabirds.
 

The part that faces the open sea has strong waves, the one that faces the estuary has calm waters or dead sea. It has large extensions of mangroves that communicate through natural channels with those of the Encrucijada Reserve in the Las Palmas area.
