The “Las Tres Tzimoleras” waterfalls are located 12 km away from the city of Comitán, a hidden paradise located within the margins of the “Santo Domingo” ranch, of approximately 350 hectares. The surrounding landscape provides fresh air and breathtaking views that seduce the senses. The Tres Tzimoleras are waterfalls, one of them is 60 m high, and they feed beautiful and calm pools that form a set of natural pools that allow swimming and relaxation in its calm waters. The perfect combination to complete a unique natural scenic setting.

Main attraction:

“Explorer Tour”, an experience of two days one night, which consists of the experience of camping under the shade of the forest, the illumination of the stars and the sound of the turquoise running waters of the San Vicente River. The adventure begins with transportation in a 4x4 truck from the town of Tzimol to the Tres Tzimoleras, while enjoying the landscape of agriculture and cane fields in the lower areas of the municipality, when you arrive, we start with a bit of hiking to get to the camping area and proceed with the installation of the camp. The senses are detonated on day 1 when doing the main activity, canyoneering in the first waterfall; where you will enjoy walking, swimming, jumping from rock to rock, jumping into the water from falls of up to 7 meters, climbing in the river and with extra cost you can rappel, to descend 40 meters next to the waterfall. At the end of the night, you can take a break by the campfire, sharing anecdotes, stories and some marshmallows. The next day, it will be your turn to explore waterfalls 2 and 3, where wildlife can give you the opportunity to spot deer, badgers, swallows, among other species that inhabit the area.

Leaving Comitán, take the road to Tzimol, the total route is approximately 12 km.

By public collective transport

Leaving Comitán is around 30-40 min, the cost is $ 15, with departures every 10 min. Hours from 06:00 to 20:00 hrs. and Saturday and Sunday from 06:00 to 18:00 hrs.

Local taxis

Leaving Comitán to Tzimol, the time is approximately 15-20 min, the taxi fare is around $ 200.
