The Selva El Ocote Biosphere Reserve, a natural treasure that houses a great biological diversity represented by endangered and endemic species, can be known through this experience that allows you to mix Adventure and Nature Tourism with Cultural Tourism.
This tour begins in the morning, leaving for the Sima de las Cotorras Tourist Center to have breakfast, a country gastronomic banquet and enjoy a combo of adventure experiences; perimeter tour, rappel and zip line.
Later, we will visit the Río La Venta Canyon in one of its initial points; El Aguacero Waterfall, which with its more than 25 meters high will be waiting for us to enjoy a regional meal and if the water level allows it, enjoy an underground swim in the El Encanto cave.
As the third and last stop is the visit to the Hammock Museum in the municipality of Berriozábal, whose space dedicated to the various weaving of hammocks made by artisans, exposes the history and beginnings when hammocks were made from ixtle and offers the opportunity to learn how to make a hammock through its artisan workshop.
