Tapachula International Fairgrounds

The Expo Feria Tapachula, considered one of the most important fairs in the state, welcomes thousands of visitors who enjoy a mix of recreational, commercial, artistic, and gastronomic activities.

With over sixty years of history, the fair has become a key annual event for southern Mexico and Central America. Its program includes musical performances by nationally renowned artists, attracting large audiences to both the Palenque and the Foro Masivo; livestock exhibitions; industrial showcases; and a strong presence from the agricultural sector.

The fair also features an extensive amusement ride area offering attractions for all ages, operated by specialized entertainment companies and designed with reinforced safety measures for families.

A major pillar of the Expo Feria is its contribution to regional economic development. Producers from the Soconusco and nearby regions present agricultural, livestock, technological, textile, artisanal, and gastronomic goods, turning the fair into a commercial hub where valuable connections and business opportunities emerge.

In the culinary area, visitors can savor traditional flavors of southeastern Mexico. Typical dishes such as tamales de chipilín, pozol, fresh seafood, and regional desserts are offered in a food corridor filled with aromas and color.

For visitors from outside the region, Tapachula provides accessible lodging options, strong land and air connectivity, and the opportunity to explore nearby attractions such as the Izapa archaeological site and the coffee plantations of the Sierra Madre. The city is also known for its cultural diversity and proximity to the southern border, adding value to the experience of attending the fair.

A fair that attracts families, tourists, and entrepreneurs interested in discovering all that Chiapas has to offer.
