San Cristóbal de Las Casas: The International Cervantino-Baroque Festival has been redesigned to become the main artistic festival of massive character, which vindicates the right of access to art and culture of the people of Chiapas.
San Cristóbal de Las Casas celebrates its quality of multicultural conclave during these days, the artistic offer includes dance, diverse genres of theater, literature, gastronomy, orchestral music, jazz, etc.
The public of the International Cervantino-Baroque Festival can choose from an offer of almost fifty events. Poetry, theater and song will be offered in two of our mother tongues, the most widely spoken languages today.
All audiences, all cultures and all ages will have their expectations met. The program also includes Las callejoneadas with the traditional estudiantinas, and traditional cuisine.
